    GENERAL SUMMARY:
    The Loan Consultant II role is designed for individuals who excel in providing exceptional customer experiences while offering tailored personal loan solutions. This position plays a crucial role in building a robust customer base through effective sales strategies, loan extensions, and merchant referrals. Success in this role will be measured by the ability to create outstanding customer experiences, generate business, ensure compliance, meet monthly goals, and maintain accuracy in all transactions.

    MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Welcome and assist clients entering the office or reaching out by phone; process credit and employment verifications with accuracy.
    • Facilitate payments and distributions while offering recommendations on loan approvals.
    • Approve loans within established lending guidelines and conduct loan closings effectively.
    • Manage collection account activities, including phone and face-to-face interactions with customers.
    • Create reports, correspondences, and documentation; maintain cash drawer, process bank deposits, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
    • Actively promote all branch products and services to customers.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

    BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

    • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
    • 2-4 years of experience in consumer finance or a related field.
    • Proficiency in cash handling, computer skills, and customer service.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent communication abilities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word applications.

    PREFERRED/DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Associates or Bachelor's Degree.
    • Bilingual in Spanish and English.

    COMPENSATION:

    • This position offers a competitive salary, commensurate with responsibilities and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience.
    • Eligible for quarterly incentive compensation based on individual and company performance metrics.
