    Seneca Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer in Norfolk, VA The objective of this work is to analyze and study complex system requirements by utilizing research, discovery and developmentfundamentals. Design software tools and subsystems to support software reutilization, domain analysis,and implementation management. Manage software development and support using formal specifications,data flow diagrams, CASE tools, or other accepted design techniques. Estimates software developmentschedules, reviews existing programs through RDT&E, and assists in making refinements, reducingoperating time, and improving current techniques.

    This role is part of a proposal effort andwill support for helpdesk, application, database web development and maintenance support. These tasks are NAVWARDEVCEN in Norfolk, VA. The Contractor will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of databases, conducting data architecture to support Knowledge Management (KM), creating web portals, conducting Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E), Systems Analysis, supporting NAVWARDEVCEN's Communications

    Minimum/General Experience

    • A minimum of eight (8 years) experience, of which at least three (3) years must be specialized.
    • Specialized experience includes: IT systems analysis and programming.
    • Must demonstrate the ability to workindependently or under only general direction.

    Minimum Education

    • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or otherclosely related scientific or technical discipline. With a Master's degree (in the fields described above)
