    OVERVIEW

    BlueHalo is seeking a skilled Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to take the lead on a crucial program in Annapolis Junction, MD.     WHAT YOU WILL DO

    As a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), your role will involve providing crucial support for a program's information assurance program, organization, system, and enclave.

    Responsibilities may include:

    • Proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies
    • Maintaining operational security posture for information systems or programs to ensure compliance with security policies and standards
    • Managing the security aspects of information systems and conducting day-to-day security operations
    • Evaluating security solutions for compliance with classified information processing requirements
    • Performing vulnerability and risk assessments to support certification and accreditation
    • Conducting configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware
    • Assessing security impacts of system changes and managing those changes
    • Creating and reviewing documentation such as System Security Plans (SSPs) and Risk Assessment Reports
    • Supporting security authorization activities in alignment with DoD/CSS Information System Certification and Accreditation Process (NISCAP) and DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)

    WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security, or a related field
    • Minimum of 7+ years of ISSO experience supporting IC or DoD programs and contracts similar in scope and complexity
    • DoD 8570 compliance with IAM Level II or IAT Level III (CASP, CISSP, or Associate)
