Job summary
The Fitness Attendant is responsible for fitness center supervision and performs essential functions including supervising the facility, maintaining rapport with members and orienting them to fitness equipment. The position requires knowledge of fitness equipment and exercise programs as well as CPR certification.Responsibilities include ensuring the facility is clean and the equipment is in good working condition, helping with special events and programs, attending staff training programs, following safety manual procedures,
and completing additional tasks when assigned. The role also involves resolving differences with members employees
, working under stressful situations when First Aid or CPR is required may need to ask members to abide by club rules.
- Supervise fitness center focusing on providing members with a positive safe experience.
