Job summary
The Electrician is to troubleshoot,maintain,manage and upgrade existing electromechanical systems to ensure an economical and safe distribution of electricity. This position performs journeyman level electrical work by maintaining the terminal and various support buildings electrical distribution equipment lighting systems and various electrical devices on a daily basis in accordance with NEC NFPA and FAA Advisory Circulars.This role acts as a first responder to emergency calls for various types of electrical failures and shutdowns Responds to trouble calls involving troubleshooting of circuits tripped breakers overloaded circuits repairs or replacement of system components Manages Airside landside lighting for terminals surrounding buildings street pole lights airfield lighting systems This position may be assigned duties at all Houston Airport System facilities including IAH HOU EFD
