Tact Staff is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Chicago, Illinois.

ER Nurses needed for immediate starts in Chicago, IL. Three 12-hour shifts per week and candidates will need at least 1 year of experience in the ER. Please call Medical Solutions for more information at .

# Do you have a separate holding area in the ER or are ER holds intermixed w/in the ER? Do ER RN's manage their own ER holds?:
Respiratory patients, Overdoses (heroin), geri-psych, typical ED population

ED Physicians/Mid-Levels:
1 ED Physician
RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.)

Is there tele on this unit? RNs read strips?: 6 monitored beds, monitors at nurses station, nurses are responsible for reading and monitoring telemetry.

X-Ray or CT in the ER? Phlebotomy or nurse draw: Nurse draw on initial IV start. Repeats will be done by phlebotomy.
Shifts & Scheduling: 7-7 for AM and PM. and 3P to 3A. Schedule is made out 4 weeks at a time, overtime is available.

Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend

Holiday Requirement:
Will be assigned to one of two teams for Holidays.

Unit/Department specific orientation:
Depends on experience and comfort level but typically 2-3 shifts with a preceptor.

Tact Medical Staffing Job ID # Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
