Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.     Qualifications:
    Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)


    Licensure:
    Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements


    Experience:

    Certifications:

    • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
    One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe:

    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
    • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
    • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
    • CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurses)
    • OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
    • PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
    • S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support)
    Six Assessment & Care Modules - C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification) - Other unit-specific certifications as required Other:

    Physical Requirements:

    • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis.
    • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
    • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.     Shift Differential Pay:
    Days, Nights, Weekends ➤ Stay Pay Program - $2/hr on your productive time (24/7 bedside eligible position) at your 2, 5, 10, and 20 year anniversary at Mercy (up to $8/hr) ➤ LPN > RN Bridge Program Assistance ➤ RN > BSN Bridge Program (up to $16,000) ➤Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 annually for continuing education ➤ PTO begins accruing immediately - including a volunteer day RN Qualifications:


    Required Education:
    Nursing Degree from an accredited school; BSN preferredLicense:Must have either a current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the State of MissouriCertifications:Basic Life Support (CPR) certification through the American Heart AssociationLPN Qualifications:

    Education:High school diploma or GED equivalentPreferredExperience:1 yr LPN experienceLicensure:Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
