- Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct, and evaluate the organization's operational functions and performance.
- Comply with ELS Safety Program, policies and procedures. Modify and implement as needed.

- Comply with ELS Employee Handbook. Work with Human Resources Manager to modify and implement as needed.
- Actively participate in the development and refinement of the company's strategic policies, procedures, plans and programs as needed to ensure stability, growth, and profitability.
- Maintain positive long-term relationships with executive leadership, support leadership, field leadership, customers and stakeholders.
- Oversee, monitor, and direct all aspects of safety and operations, including but not limited to: safety performance, operational performance, regional and site leadership engagement and retention, profitability, and business growth.
- Continuous improvement of all responsible areas through professional and technical guidance, efficiencies and waste elimination, service level improvement, and cost reduction.
- Promote the education and training of team members regarding safety and operational performance, team and customer engagement, and policies and procedures.
- Motivate team members to promote trust, challenge the status quo, and deliver service excellence.
- Actively promote personal growth and professional progress through regular discussions, workshops, site visits, and objective and metric-driven feedback.
- Actively engage with customers and stakeholders regarding performance, feedback, and opportunities.
- Actively participate in the development of business growth opportunities with regards to operational expertise, business planning, operational readiness, pricing, and contract negotiations.
- Perform as a conduit for internal communications, resource support, and streamlined progress.
- Expedite support and resolution of challenges for safety and field leadership, and site teams.
- Perform additional duties and assignments as may be required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- 10+ years' experience in operational leadership and support.
- Expert knowledge of industry policies and procedures.
- Intermediate knowledge of customer and stakeholder environment.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and "let's fix it" attitude in all interactions.
- Excellent listening, speaking, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Ability to quickly analyze situations, interpret needs, develop plans, and drive resolution.
- Ability to work under stressful conditions and provide objective feedback and support.
- Ability to influence and persuade team members at all levels.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under ELS insurance policy.
