    Your role as a Senior Business Development Manager

    Key responsibilities:

    Salary:
    $145,000 - $155,000 plus bonus
    Position Overview
    We are seeking a highly driven Senior Business Development Manager to join our North American team in Chicago. This role is pivotal in expanding NewCold's footprint in the U.S. market by identifying new opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

    The ideal candidate is a seasoned business development professional with deep knowledge of the food supply chain, logistics, or cold storage industry.

    Roles and Responsibilities
    Develop and execute business development strategies to expand NewCold's presence in the U.S. market.
    Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities with major food manufacturers, retailers, and logistics partners.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
    Collaborate with internal teams (operations, engineering, finance, and project management) to design tailored solutions for clients.
    Lead contract negotiations and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
    Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform strategy.
    Represent NewCold at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
    Provide regular reporting on pipeline development, forecasts, and performance metrics.

    Requirements

    8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, ideally within logistics, cold storage, or food supply chain sectors.

    Proven track record of securing and managing multimillion-dollar contracts.
    Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and international environment.
    Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
    Education/Certification
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (MBA preferred).
