    Description
    We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Project Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical engineering projects within our partners chemical manufacturing facilities.

    From conception to completion, the Mechanical Project Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, meeting safety, quality, and budgetary requirements - this is a very autonomous role.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Project Management:
    Lead mechanical engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and specifications

    Design and Engineering:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop mechanical designs, including equipment layouts, piping systems, and machinery installations

    Risk Assessment:
    Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and reliability of mechanical systems and processes

    Procurement and Vendor Management:
    Coordinate procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and oversight of equipment and materials suppliers

    Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
    Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations governing mechanical engineering practices in chemical manufacturing environments

    Quality Assurance:
    Implement quality assurance measures to maintain the highest standards of product quality and reliability

    Troubleshooting and Maintenance Support:
    Provide technical support for troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime

    Documentation and Reporting:
    Maintain accurate project documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and progress reports

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
    Ideal candidate has within 5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the chemical manufacturing industry.
    Proven track record of successfully managing mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
    Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and other engineering tools.
    Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, equipment specifications, and manufacturing processes.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, ANSI, ASME).Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
