Job DetailsJob LocationCAResponsibility Daily Responsibilities 90%Inspect, test, and diagnose serversReplace parts as neededConduct and analyze server stress testsDocument all symptoms, test results, and parts replaced in shop floor toolCollaborate with motherboard repair, motherboard testing, QC, whole unit repair, and inspections personnelProvide back up for QC, inspection, whole unit repair, and motherboard testingMaintain parts consumptionOther duties as assigned by leadershipTeam building & leadership 10%Maintain and nurture positive work environmentWork and collaborate with other teams such as warehouse, shipping, receiving, etc.
Follow process for system and parts managementOther Personal Skills RequiredKnow basic server architectureKnow how to assemble components to make server functionalRun and understand testing diagnosticsUnderstand basic networking architectureUnderstand basic error codesAble to trouble shoot common server errors and issuesMotivated to solve problemsInterested in constantly learning about servers and networkingIncreased understanding of testing and error codesBrings knowledge to enhance trouble shooting and diagnosis of failuresUnderstands end to end flow of server repair processKnow Linux commands and able to use terminal.
