Autzu is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Fleet Operations Manager to join our team in San Francisco.The Fleet Manager oversees the entire fleet operation across multiple parking hubs, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to company policies and industry standards.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve and develop fleet operations as we launch and scale the fleet in San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement fleet management strategies and policies to optimize fleet performance, minimize costs, and meet business objectives.
Pre-launch Setup in SF: Locate suitable nearby parking lots that meet company criteria and begin site preparations, including establishing wash bay equipment, hiring cleaning staff, and procuring necessary signage and branding materials.
Vehicle Infleeting:
Once cars are delivered, oversee and manage the infleeting processes to ensure vehicles are ready for customer use.
Oversee and manage Fleet Coordinators at multiple parking hubs, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to company policies, and consistent quality across all locations.
Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to fleet operations, including environmental and safety standards, as well as industry best practices.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to negotiate favorable contracts and agreements, ensuring high-quality products and services at competitive prices.
Oversee vehicle acquisition, ensuring appropriate selection and procurement of vehicles to meet the needs of the fleet while adhering to budget constraints.
Manage vehicle remarketing and disposal processes, maximizing the resale value of used vehicles and minimizing losses.Develop and implement training programs for Fleet Coordinators and fleet associates, promoting a culture of continuous learning, safety, and customer focus.
Continuously monitor advancements in technology, industry trends, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in fleet operations.
Prepare and present regular reports on fleet performance, budgets, and strategic initiatives to senior management and other stakeholders, as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, transportation, or a related field preferred.
3+ years of experience in fleet management, operations, or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing teams, budgets, and meeting performance goals.
In-depth knowledge of the rideshare industry, EV technology, and best practices in fleet maintenance, management, vehicle acquisition, and remarketing.Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Knowledge of the San Fran area and local laws pertaining to this role.

Salary Range:
$75,000 - $90,000 per year (plus bonuses)
