Physical Therapist Job Opportunity:

TalentWell is hiring a Physical Therapist for a rapidly growing, innovative physical therapy group with multiple outpatient clinics in and around Houston, TX. This position will support the group's Greenway Location and their newly opened Memorial City Clinic. This position aids patients in improving mobility along with recovering from pain and injury. This medical group treats everything from acute/chronic pain to sports injuries and autoimmune disorders.

Full-time, permanent role
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; occasional Saturdays as needed
Pay: $75,000-$95,000/year based on experience and tenure

Physical Therapist Essential Job Functions:

Collaborates closely with a team of healthcare providers, assessing and treating patients with medical conditions or injuries that limit their movement or daily activities.
Execute selected components of care and interventions with skill and accuracy.
Provide clear guidance and instruction to patients on therapeutic exercises.
Display compassion, empathy, and understanding towards individual patient needs.
Recommends suitable treatment options and adaptations to ensure patient progress, safety, and comfort.
Applies the latest research in physical therapy to restore function, decrease symptom frequency, and prevent injury.
Maintains precise documentation to support the delivery of physical therapy services.
Collects data accurately and gathers relevant information to inform treatment decisions.
Records patient progress and measures performance in their medical record.
Actively participates in patient status assessments and collaborates with the healthcare team.
Adheres to ethical and legal standards in all aspects of patient care.
Maintains ongoing competence and stays updated with advancements in the field of physical therapy.

Physical Therapist Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) OR Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (PT)
Texas State Physical Therapy License
Dry Needling Certification is preferred (not required)
Previous experience assessing patients as a Physical Therapist
Excellent understanding of physiology, best practices, and standards in physical therapy.
Proficiency in therapeutic exercises, functional training, and physical modalities.
Strong communication and instructional skills.
Healthcare administration and documentation proficiency.
Bilingual in Spanish or Fluent in Spanish is a plus (not required)
