Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Campus Patrol in Alpharetta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and media location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor guidance. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and respond to concerns with professionalism and customer service. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology office location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout interior spaces, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns through established security-related channels.
Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests to the appropriate destination in accordance with site policies.
Monitor alarms, surveillance systems, and other security-related equipment when assigned, documenting observations and escalating issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing accurate reports and timely notifications to support appropriate follow-up actions.

Minimum Requirements:

Have at least 2 or more years of security-related experience.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
