    Job Description Summary:

    Responsible for daily operational support, as well as assistance with ongoing efficient, effective and compliant operations of West Tennessee Medical Group owned/operated physician practices.

    Provides leadership, direction, and administration to all aspects of the clinic operations except for those involving professional medical judgment. Reports directly to the Director of Inpatient and Specialty Clinics.
    ResponsibilitiesEnsures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery and rules of accrediting bodies.
    Continually monitor operations, programs, physical properties and recommend appropriate changes.

    Serves as the primary day-to-day contact and support professional for WTH on-site Clinic Manager in the areas of ongoing operational efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.

    Identifies and acts upon appropriate opportunities to reduce operating costs, as well as increase operating revenues.

    Identifies and reports on trends applicable to each priority and serves as a key representative in working with physician billing contacts and other support departments.

    Develops annual cost-center level budgets with Clinic Manager and is primarily responsible for reporting of clinic operating results.
    Responsible for compiling and reporting budget variances on a monthly basis and as requested.

    Responsible for developing and implementing a support staffing pool of clinical and clerical staff to provide efficient care and uninterrupted service to patients.

    Assists in the development and implementation of clinic-based policies and procedures.
    Responsible for staff training needs and skill-set verification.

    Resolves medical and or administrative problems and keeps lines of communication open to ensure high employee morale in the clinic environment.

    Utilization of guest excellence skills at all times and deals with patient complaints according to current department policies.
    Monitor staff for exhibiting ADIET skills and provides feedback as needed.

    Assists with the identification and referencing of new providers and professional staff, through participation in the interviewing and referencing process, in coordination with physician recruiting staff.

    Also, assists with the identification and selection of key leadership team members, including clinic managers.
    Attends required meetings and participates as a member of organizational and departmental committees, as requested.

    QualificationsEDUCATIONThis position requires a high level of education development and/or a professional level of knowledge equivalent to that which would normally be acquired by completing a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a major in accounting or business related field; equivalent work experience will be considered.

    Masters Degree in Business Administration, Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration; equivalent work experience considered.

    AEXPERIENCE:
    Prefer 5+ years of experience in Management or Supervision in Healthcare field.
