    The LPN provides nursing care to the individuals served as prescribed by the physician or registered nurse. Performs the functions of a Licensed Practical Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating under direct supervision of the Charge Nurse. Is responsible for complying with regulations established by the Nebraska Nurse Practice Act and Duet and ENHSA policies and procedures.

    About Us: Duet is a well-established nonprofit organization operating in the Greater Omaha area. Our mission is to empower adults with developmental disabilities to live life to its fullest. We assist in the activities of daily living, provide community engagement opportunities, job coaching and life skills training, as well as skilled nursing care as needed.

    Job Description: As an LPN with Duet, you will be responsible for overseeing the skilled nursing care of 6 adults with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. This is your opportunity to really connect with your patients and develop a meaningful one-on-one relationship with the individuals served You will also supervise the CNAs on your shift.

    A Day in the Life:
    • Build relationships by providing skilled nursing care for 6 adults with developmental disabilities (DD)
    • Supervise 2-3 CNAs on your shift
    • Assist with activities of daily living
    • Assess, plan, and implement the care of individuals served
    • Administering medications as needed
    • Documenting behaviors and implementing behavioral plans
    For the safety of those we serve, we ask that you have the following:
    • State of NE LPN license
    • A valid Driver's License in good standing
    • Experience working with the DD population preferred (not required)
    • Be able to pass a physical (including lifting 70 pounds) and a drug screen
    • Passion about our mission and the individuals we serve
    • Demonstrated good work ethic and reliability
