Manufacturing Company in Adairsville, Ga., is seeking an Extrusion Supervisor
Nights, 8PM-8AMStarting Salary is $65,000 - $70,000, annually, w/ the opportunity for advancement based on performance.
The successful candidate will oversee the facility's extrusion process on shift to ensure effective and efficient use of facilities and staff. The candidate must demonstrate superior leadership in safety, quality, cost, production, and service for the new LVT (SPC) manufacturing facility. It is imperative that the person is a natural leader.
-- Experience in Extrusion is a MUST.
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Oversees the manufacture of products, ensuring production, performance, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Reviews production reports to ensure safety, quality, financial, and delivery goals and standards are met.
• Ensures a healthy and safe working environment, and compliance with federal and state regulations, through collaboration with environmental, health, and safety staff.
• Ensure that all machinery is running at or above budgeted cycle times.
• Communicate between shifts to insure proper handoff to the next shift.
• Implements quality standard testing and evaluation processes.
• Reviews quality control documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports for effectiveness, accuracy, and relevance.
• Conducts random inspections and quality control checks.
• Implement procedures which yield the highest quality luxury vinyl in the safest, most efficient and productive manner.
• Identifies and shares training opportunities for staff to build and improve skills.
• Support Quality Control and Quality Assurance for SOP improvements.
