    Description

    Job Description: Quality Control Equipment Provider

    Role Overview:

    The Quality Control Equipment Provider plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of analytical equipment used in quality control laboratories. This individual is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and calibrating various instruments, including UPLC (Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography), HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography), CAD, DLS , and pH meters. The QC Equipment Provider adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and industry regulations to support efficient and accurate testing processes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting:Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of UPLC, HPLC, CAD, DLS, and pH meters.
      • Address equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and ensure accurate results.
      • Collaborate with technical support or service engineers when complex issues arise.
      • Instrument Performance Verification:Regularly verify the performance of analytical instruments using appropriate standards and controls.
      • Document calibration and verification activities according to established procedures.
      • Adherence to SOPs and GMP:Follow SOPs meticulously during equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration.
      • Ensure compliance with GMP guidelines to maintain data integrity and product quality.
      • Quality Control Testing:Assist in routine quality control testing, including sample analysis using UPLC, HPLC, and other relevant techniques.
      • Conduct assays, content uniformity, blend uniformity, impurity analysis, identification, moisture determination, LOD (Loss on Drying), and particle size analysis.
      • Data Interpretation and Reporting:Analyze and interpret data generated by Empower 3 software (used for HPLC/UPLC).
      • Maintain accurate and legible laboratory notebooks.
      • Regulatory Compliance:Stay informed about regulatory guidances and compendia related to laboratory analyses.
      • Report any deviations, out-of-specification (OOS), or out-of-trend (OOT) results to laboratory management.
