    HTC Commercial Flooring is seeking full-time Lead Epoxy Installer who has in-depth knowledge of and trained in the epoxy flooring industry to oversee, manage, and help install commercial and industrial epoxy flooring projects in Chicagoland Areas. This candidate must know all facets of installing epoxy flooring. This is a high earning career with growth potential. Hotel, per diem, all materials, PPE, and company uniform (long and short sleeve shirts) are provided. This candidate must have knowledge of epoxy materials, cure times, installing coatings, decorative systems, epoxy mortars, urethane cement mortars, sloping and metallics. Must be familiar with mixing materials, installing floor, place, hang, push and finish integral cove base. The Lead Installer will leave for the project with the installation crew from our warehouse in Mokena, IL.

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced concrete resurfacing and epoxy flooring installer to join our team. You will be responsible for installations in commercial settings and sometimes residential. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, knowledge of different flooring techniques, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. We also offer competitive compensation and benefits.

    Responsibilities:

    • Install polished concrete, epoxy, urethane, and hard surface flooring systems.
    • Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area.
    • Proper use of equipment and materials
    • Strive to meet and exceed any and all production targets.
    • Travel when needed to measure sites

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in epoxy concrete coating installation preferred
    • Familiarity with various hand tools used in flooring installation
    • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Excellent time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
    • Ability to work overtime, nights, and maybe weekends. When needed.
    • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
    • Can lift heavy equipment or materials.
