POSITION SUMMARY:
The Shipping/Receiving Clerk coordinates daily shipping and receiving activities to ensure accurate, on-time movement of materials and finished goods.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Support daily shipping/ receiving workflow.
- Process and verify shipping/receiving documentation (packing slips, BOLs, delivery receipts) and ensure accurate system transactions (ERP/WMS).
- Receive inbound materials
- Support inventory control activities.
- Operate material-handling equipment safely.
- Band and wrap finished goods on pallets.
- Load/Unload deliveries.
- Communicate with Project Management and/or Accounting to solve/resolve issues.
- Assist is setting driver route when needed.
- Set up LTL and/or specialty carriers as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 3+ years of shipping/receiving and warehouse experience.
- Valid Drivers License
- Basic understanding of production workflow and safety procedures.
- Able to read, write, communicate and follow job ticket/work instructions.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Forklift certification preferred
