ASAP Personnel Services in Irving have immediate openings for 2nd Shift Mechanical Assemblers for a roof, flooring, and wall component Manufacturing Company in Grand Prairie. This is a temp-to-hire position. MUST have Previous Mechanical experience for this position. If you are interested, submit an updated resume for quicker assistance call

Shift: Monday-Friday 2 pm-10:30 pm ***

Pay Rate: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Duties:

• Produce quality products by assembling equipment sub-assemblies, modules, and top-level machine systems, setting up equipment, following engineering specifications and procedures, making adjustments, and measuring to exact tolerances.
• Reading & interpreting Blueprints
• Set up, assemble, & verify the machine's functioning
• Operate lathe and other metal working machines to manufacture and repair parts as needed
• Operate wrenches, tools, calipers, drills, gauges, & top-level machines
• Lifting up to 50 lbs at times is required
• Able to work in a non-temperature controlled environment

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Familiar/Comfortable with hand tools, forklifts, cranes, calipers, micrometers, heights, & depth gauges
• Mechanical, Electrical, Motion control, & assembly experience
