    The Boeing Company seeking a Systems Engineer (Mid-Level, Senior, Consultant) to join their team in Berkeley, MO . This position will focus on supporting the Government Training Engineering (GTE) organization. The successful candidate needs to be a self-starter and motivated to find their lane to support a business that is growing. The successful candidate will demonstrate through previous and appropriate technical experiences that they could teach themselves the intricacies of a development platform and support disciplined and repeatable processes, including teaching and coaching other engineers. This will be a hands-on position in a development lab environment with a focus on Systems Engineering processes including requirements development, integration, and verification.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Collaborating within a cross-functional team to reach decisions that are mutually acceptable to multiple engineering and support teams.
    • Writing performance, specification, and compliance requirements for the Training Solutions.
    • Leading Hardware-Software Integration (HSI) and Verification in a development lab environment including formal test events, producing test reports, and leading test log reviews.
    • Ensuring compliance of system design to security requirements and configuration-control processes.
    • Assists other team members in the performance of day-to-day operations in a fast-paced development environment.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
    • 1+ years of experience in deriving technical requirements from customer input or eliciting customer requirements
    • 1+ years of experience with test plans or test procedures
    • 1+ years of experience with configuration management tools and processes

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 5 or more year's related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (Senior/Consultant)
    • Experience and knowledge of training systems architecture
    • Systems Engineering experience using tools such as DOORS, Windchill, VersionOne, BORIS, and other common tools
    • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (i.e. Teamcenter Systems Engineering, Cameo, etc.)
    • Experience troubleshooting software and hardware issues effectively
    • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and/or other Agile methodology
    • Experience working in a secure environment

    Typical Education/ Experience:

    Mid-Level (Level 3)

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Senior (Level 4)

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Consultant (Level 5)

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

    Summary Pay Range Mid-Level (Level 3): $90,950- $132,250

    Summary Pay Range Senior (Level 4): $111,350- $162,150

    Summary Pay Range Consultant (Level 5): $136,850- $198,950
