    This highly visible and critical enabling tole to the Global Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) can be based either in Boston or in a location in Europe where we have significant footprint – London, Dublin, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy or Poland. The role reports dually into the CCO and the Chief Administrative Officer for the CCO team.

    • Chief of Staff (COS) plays a critical role in the realization of CCO strategy and achieving its desired effectiveness, finance objectives while managing all aspects of the Office of the CCO.
    • The CCO serves as a central liaison across the division globally and with IS and State Street's other businesses, providing leadership and management support for critical initiatives and coordinating the efforts of business and support functions to achieve CCO's strategy including governance both within the CCO function as well as for the IS business legal entities.
    • Engages in business level strategic planning, aligning group goals to IS overall strategy and CCO's strategy to the overall goals of State Street
    • Takes responsibility for leading the critical cross-functional strategic initiatives, coordinates business teams and corporate functions in support of these initiatives
    • Provides direction and support to managers in developing their goals, programs and specific responsibilities in support of CCO's broader organizational goals; builds and leads a process to measure and evaluate progress against goals
    • Provides input into governance and committee processes, operating policies and procedures to improve effectiveness, mitigate risk and accelerate speed of decision-making in CCO; pro-actively identifies issues, engages in collaborative problem-solving and makes recommendations to senior management
    • Acts as a representative for the CAO and CCO on a variety of committees and initiatives including revenue uplift, deal activity and general management across the group.
    • Partners with the leaders in the CCO, Finance and GHR colleagues to ensure that CCO meets or beats its goals on a number of cross fictional initiatives.
    • Will also play a central role in CCO partnership and M&A activities.
    • Manages an effective and collaborative team to deliver on objectives

    Salary Range:

    $225,000 - $337,500 Annual

    The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
