- Provide individualized instruction to students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Emotional Disabilities (ED) in a safe and supportive environment.
- Develop and implement effective lesson plans aligned with the PA Academic Standards and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and parents to ensure a comprehensive approach to student success.
- Utilize data-driven instruction to monitor student progress and make adjustments to programming as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that celebrates diversity.
- Must hold a valid PA Teaching License in Special Education or a related field.
- Out-of-state license holders must be willing to obtain a PA license within a designated timeframe.
- Prior experience working with students with ASD or ED is preferred.
- Strong understanding of instructional strategies for students with special needs.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
