    Our Clients are seeking motivated and experienced Paraprofessionals to provide classroom support for schools in the Enfield and Windsor area.

    SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

    • De-escalate students who demonstrate behavioral challenges
    • Assist classroom teacher with lesson delivery, classroom management, and material development
    • Track student progress throughout the day, using charts or graphics when necessary
    • Empower students with strategies that enhance their strengths
    • Provide an encouraging and supportive presence to students
    • Monitor the classroom to minimize distractions and disruptions
    • Help teacher facilitate technology in the classroom when necessary
    CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with children who demonstrate behavioral challenges and/or have special needs including autism or medical fragility
    • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED OR Associate's degree, 60 college credits, or ParaPro a plus
    • Willingness to complete PMT (restraint) training
    • Fingerprint background check for FBI, State, Child Clearance, Act 16-67
