    Description

    The Role:

    • Proactively develop and implement an innovative, competitive and sustainable product range and a corresponding portfolio strategy for the product segment "Taste Modulation" within the Global Business Unit Taste
    • Manage and drive the continuous improvement of the Global assortment and the regional implementation
    • Monitor revenue and profit development and sales activities of the product range and develop and set corrective actions accordingly
    • Define product range of existing and innovative products
    • Work closely together with peer teams of R&D, Marketing, Pricing, Supply Chain and Sales to communicate innovations of the product groups
    • Thoroughly analyze markets in order to find new opportunities in regard to raw materials, technologies, concepts and products
    • Continuously drive Idea to Market projects proposing new ideas in terms of product ranges to fill gaps in current portfolio
    • Drive multi-disciplinary projects through horizontal leadership, and coordination skills among different areas to conclude projects on time
    • Actively monitor markets & competitors through portfolio benchmarking and prepare competitive Analysis

    Candidate Profile

    • Experience in the field of product management in the beverage, food or chemical industry
    • Technical experience and sales experience could be beneficial
    • Successfully completed degree in food technology, general business administration or a similar qualification
    • Strong analytical and conceptual skills and a structured, effective and responsible style of working
    • Hands-On experience in project and time management
    • Motivation to drive Business to excellence in a new and challenging environment
    • Business Fluent in English, Spanish or Portuguese could be a plus
    • Convincing and enthusiastic communication and presentation skills at all business levels, ability to work independently as well as in a team
    • A result-driven, entrepreneurial and self-motivated personality
    • Willingness to travel internationally

    Typical office environment but the employee can be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. as well as loud environments while working in the labs.
