- Transform the Month-End Close Process: Streamline and optimize the month-end close procedure to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial statements in accordance with GAAP, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- NetSuite Proficiency: Utilize NetSuite to enhance financial operations, including system optimizations and ensuring accurate financial data.
- Bank and Account Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records for all transactions.
- Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforce adherence to requirements; and advise management on needed actions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and other departments to support overall company objectives and financial goals.
- Private Equity Experience: Leverage experience in private equity (PE) environments to navigate financial complexities and drive value creation.
- Audit and Public Accounting Experience: Utilize public accounting experience and CPA credentials to enhance financial reporting, compliance, and strategic planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a strong preference for public accounting and PE-backed company experience.
- Proficiency in NetSuite or similar ERP systems.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
