- Assist with efforts to update the MSRC / BSRC -O curriculum to 8-week delivery
- Contribute to MSRC / BSRC -O program and course changes with the department, college, and university curriculum processes including Curriculum Services for the program and course catalog and the Registrar's Office for the course schedule
- Ensure consistency across MSRC Canvas course sites and syllabi
- Participate in MSRC / BSRC -O course scheduling to enable year-round rolling enrollments
- Participate in MSRC / BSRC -O faculty committees to ensure consistency in course delivery
- Assist department contributions to MSRC / BSRC -O marketing and promotional materials
- Manage content of the RC Department website related to the MSRC / BSRC -O program including appropriate links to TXST Global and other university web pages
- Support the MSRC / BSRC -O Program Directors to recruit qualified students into programs
- Support the Department Chair to recruit qualified online faculty to meet delivery needs
- Teach two or more course sections in the online MSRC / BSRC -O programs, as needed
- Master of Science in Respiratory Care
- Must hold a Registered Respiratory Therapist ( RRT )
- Must hold a national credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care ( NBRC )
- Must hold the Respiratory Care Practitioner ( RCP ) license in the State of Texas or be eligible for a license
- Minimum of 18 graduate hours in the teaching field is generally required
- Current and contemporary competence in clinical practice or management.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly as evidenced by a presentation during the campus visit with faculty.
- BLS and ACLS certified
- PhD/Doctorate
- Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist ( NPS ) credential
- Sleep Disorder Specialist ( SDS ) credential
- Registered Pulmonary Function Technologist ( RPFT ) credential
- Adult Critical Care Specialist ( ACCS ) credential
- University teaching experience.
- Engaged in scholarship through relevant professional presentations, workshops, or publications.
- Leadership in relevant professional organization's.
- Documentation of online course preparation and delivery expertise.

Position Description
TheDepartment of Respiratory Care ) at Texas State University invites applications for two (2) nontenure, clinical faculty positions on the Round Rock, TX campus.
Responsibilities will include working closely with the existing Master of Science in Respiratory Care ( MSRC ) and Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Care-Online ( BSRC -O) Program Directors and faculty members to accomplish the following:
