TMD Staffing is hiring an experienced Electro/Mechanical Technician I in the Houston, TX area
LOCATION: Houston, TX 77032
PAY RATE: $24.00+ per hour (Depending on Experience)
SCHEDULE: First Shift – Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM. Must be flexible to work OT as needed.
This position is ideal for someone skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems in an industrial setting.
ELECTRO/MECHANICAL TECH RESPONSIBILITIES
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electro-mechanical equipment and systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and upgrades
- Install, calibrate, and test new machinery
- Diagnose issues using schematics, PLCs, and diagnostic tools
- Document repairs and maintenance logs
- Follow all safety standards and company procedures
ELECTRO/MECHANICAL TECH REQUIREMENTS
- 1–3 years of experience with electrical and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of PLCs, AC/DC circuits, and industrial machinery
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
- High School Diploma or GED
