NeurologistHours : Monday-Friday
Occasional SaturdayCall Responsibility:
1:5Responsibilities:
The Neurologist will: Work mostly out of outpatient clinic with some inpatient responsibility.
Diagnosing complex medical problems by referring to a patient's history, examining them, and conducting neurological testsCounseling patients on neurological disorders and their backgroundOrdering neurological tests and interpreting the results of neuroimaging studiesPrescribing and/or administering treatment and medicationMonitoring the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medicationOrdering supportive care services for patientsParticipating in neuroscience research activities.
Acting as a liaison with medical professionals in the community and hospitalsKeeping up-to-date with neurological developments, treatments, and medicationQualifications: Licensed to practice in the State of New JerseyBoard Eligible / Certified in NeurologyDesired Skills:
The ideal candidate would have fellowship training in clinical Neurophysiology/EMG track or Neuromuscular Medicine.
