Description
Our client is a leading NYC based manufacturer of Private Label and Branded Apparel. They are seeking a confident, independent and motivated Retail, Drop Ship, and Wholesale Planning AnalystPOSITION OVERVIEW:
The Planning role will be focused on the client's Ecommerce and Store business. Are you an eager self-starter who loves using data analytics and consumer insights to help make critical decisions that drive sales through accuracy in inventory planning and replenishment programs? RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PLANNING ANALYST:
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales, inventory and replenishment reports, and other ad hoc business recaps to support the team
Create and manage style, category, size, and other various level selling reports needed for the planning function
Analyze store level business and inventory flow, to drive sales, improve in-stock and optimize turn
Create Ladder plan and develop strategic unit/financial plans for the management team
Manage the drop ship sales and optimal inventory planning.
Formulate business strategies using historical and current trend analysis.
Identify sales and profit opportunities/liabilities and make recommendations to the department
Research and resolve issues related to purchasing orders, shipments, and sales
Support cross functional teams with weekly reporting to support sales and inventory position
Create advanced Access queries and macros to data-mine and analyze retail data (preferred).
Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information, best practices and to develop systems knowledge.
Manage the elements of a monthly OTB plan and provide recommendations and actions to hit the plan
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE PLANNING ANALYST
The Planner roles will require excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability work productively in a team setting
Self-starter and able to work independently with no supervision
Excellent problem solving, analytical and math skills; detail-oriented
Comfort with learning new systems, including company proprietary systems (A2000) and Shopify, as well as marketplace and drop ship platforms
