    This position involves providing radiation therapy services at both our main campus clinic in Detroit and our satellite clinic in Brownstown.

    This opportunity offers a unique experience in serving diverse patient populations across two locations, contributing to the advancement of cancer care in the Detroit metropolitan area.


    GENERAL SUMMARY:

    Under general supervision the Radiation Therapist:

    • Administers radiation treatments to patients, as prescribed by the physician, utilizing specialized equipment including linear accelerator,
    • High Dose Rate (HDR) After loader, and Computed Tomography.

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

    CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

    • A.R.R.T. Radiation Therapy Technology Certification or registry eligible.

    WORKING CONDITIONS:

    • Normal office environment with minimal exposure to noise, dust, or extreme temperatures.
    • Lifting of patients, moving & pushing wheelchairs/stretchers and lifting of equipment, above head, up to 50 lbs.
    • Potential exposure to radiation; however, adherence to safety procedures minimizes likelihood of danger.
    • Frequent interaction with emotionally depressed and terminally/critically ill patients.
