    Summary Of Job Function


    The Business Analyst is responsible for managing all steps related to the price change process, including cost changes, pricing changes, margin analysis, and implementation of all adjustments within the ERP system.

    The Business Analyst will work in conjunction with the Sales Coordinators to oversee all data entry related to customer product pricing, list pricing setup, and competitive price requests with suppliers.

    They will assist the Customer Service, Supply Chain and Sales Teams with any customer pricing data required to achieve efficient order to cash process.


    The Business Analyst will act as a Margin Optimization Project (MOP) advocate for their division and will be responsible for compiling all data related to MOP analysis.

    The Business Analyst will support the Pricing & Business Analysis manager as needed by providing relevant data, reports, and suggestions for improvement in business performance & efficiency.

    This role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel, as well as daily use of ERP systems.

    Essential Duties And Responsibilities

    Costing Coordination
    Oversee the timely entry of all supplier cost data into Chempax
    Maintain the organization of all supplier cost sheets as they are received
    Work directly with Supply Chain (Buyers & Inventory Managers) to ensure accurate costs
    Work with Principal Development Managers (PDMs) on competitive cost situations
    Pricing Coordination

    In conjunction with the Sales Coordinator, assist with entry & help maintain accuracy of all customer price data in Chempax.

    Help investigate & resolve any customer price discrepancies
    Maintain customer/product schedule pricing and rebate amounts, in conjunction with the Sales Coordinator.
    Assist Sales Coordinator with list price generation and changes during price increase process
    Provide margin analysis and suggested actions during price change process to achieve optimum customer product margins
    Manage the timely entry of all customer price change data into Chempax. Work with Sales Coordinator to ensure timely & accurate implementation of any price changes
    Manage monthly filing of CUPS and rebates with suppliers, as well as entry into Chempax
    Conduct monthly reviews of expiring supported pricing, if applicable
    Work with PDMs & VPs on competitive customer pricing situations
    MOP Advocate
    Work in coordination with Pricing & Business Analysis Manager, VPs, and GM to provide data for divisional MOP analysis as needed
    Generate monthly MOP reports – Bridge Analysis, Pricing Tool Margin Tracker, and other reports as needed
    Use Pricing Tool to help determine margin strategy and additional price increases
    Manage the Exacted Order Report & IV Hold Report for margin review and analysis
    Other Responsibilities & Reporting
    Provide purchasing data and product margin analysis as needed for supplier or customer reviews
    Work alongside Accounts Payable to rectify any issues in relation to supplier invoices
    Issue credits & rebill orders for any given circumstance (cost adjustment, rebate capture, etc.)
    Assist with other month end reconciliations and analysis as required
    Understand and adhere to/follow the Azelis Business Management System related department procedures and policies (SOP Documents)
    Represent Azelis with the utmost integrity and in a highly professional and polished manner to include proper dress and conduct
    Other reports as needed and requested

    Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

    Working knowledge of various computer programs and ability to understand & interact with ERP systems
    Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
    Excellent phone, customer service, creative-thinking and problem-solving skills
    Excellent attention to detail with numbers

    Education And/or Experience

    Four (4) year college graduate, preferred
    BS in Accounting, preferred
