    Description


    Looking for someone who can design, configure, install, administer, test, and maintain the department's software and hardware for servers, switches, routers and firewalls.

    This person would be responding to and resolving server and network device issues as well as providing tech support to the IT HelpDesk if computer issues are caused by networks or servers.


    • Addressing tickets using IssueTrack and resolving end user tickets throughout the waterworks department
    • Applying patches for security, antivirus, and upgrades on Windows 2000/2003 servers, Exchange 2007 servers, Blackberry Enterprise servers, and personal computers
    • Monitoring the backup files and systems for personal computers and systems using Veritas Backup Exec
    • Investigating logs

    Required Skills & Experience
    -4 years of experience configuring routers and switches

    • Experience with ticketing systems
    • Experience with subnets
    • Experience with software implementation and back ups
    • Problem solving mindset
    • Researching and resolving problems
    • Valid driver's license
    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    • Bachelors in information technology or a related field
    • CCNA
    • Microsoft MCNA or MCSE


    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
