This could be the perfect opportunity for you As a Logistics Specialist III, you prepare our logistics documentation to assist in establishing the pipeline for spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals needed are available to be deployed and stocked.

    You'll be responsible for routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics, maintaining our records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals, and tracking logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of our storage facilities.

    You'll ensure shipping activities adhere to state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements.

    Must-haves:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 4 or more years of relevant experience
    • A higher level degree may substitute for experience
    • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
    • Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills
    • Understanding and experience with the practical application of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques
    • Progressive experience with inventory databases
    • Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally
    • Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
    • Ability to deploy OCONUS for a minimum of 60-90 days to various OCONUS operating locations
    • Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules, as required
    • Meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed location
    • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

    Preferred:

    • Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
    • HazMat Training/Certification
    • Ability to operate a Forklift
    • Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS
    • Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record
    • Understanding of Shelf Life
    • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military
