Job Summary

Performs activities specific to patient safety and mobility under supervision of a licensed PT or Registered Nurse while following Progressive Mobility duties as well as safe and efficient transportation of patients from setting to setting in the acute care hospital.

Qualifications

  • Computer competency-working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Able to learn and demonstrate competency in proper and safe patient handling including repositioning/bed mobility, transfer/lifting, and progressive ambulation using appropriate assistive devices as needed (cane, walker, crutches).
