- Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of medical equipment, specializing in anesthesia machines and sterilizers.
- Ensure all equipment meets the necessary safety and performance standards.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance and calibration of medical equipment.
- Troubleshoot complex issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Train and support clinical staff on the proper use of equipment.
- Manage service records and documentation of all maintenance activities.
- Provide on-call technical support and perform emergency repairs as required.
- Adhere to all national and international standards for medical equipment safety and performance.
- Travel to various sites to perform repairs, installations, and routine service as needed.
- Certification and hands-on experience with Mindray and/or GE anesthesia machines.
- Certification and experience with at least one of the following sterilizer brands: Primus, Steris, Getinge, or Tuttnauer.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, particularly in an ambulatory surgery center environment.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex biomedical equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with medical staff and colleagues.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively (over 75% of the time)
- Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
- Advanced certifications in biomedical equipment technology.
- Experience with software and hardware integration in medical devices.
- Knowledge of current medical device regulations and compliance requirements.
