APTIM is pleased to announce an immediate opening for a

Senior

Civil / Environmental Engineer

in our Canton, Massachusetts office to support our exciting portfolio of projects.

Our Canton office operates as the consulting and engineering center for APTIM's Solid Waste Engineering Division, and as a hub for our Environmental Site Assessment and Remediation Group.

We provide the following services to both the public and private sectors:

Investment into your personal and professional development
Local siting and zoning,
Facility design and permitting
Stormwater modeling and management plan development
Construction oversight
Operations and maintenance
Hydrogeologic and geotechnical investigations
Environmental compliance audits
Facility closure and redevelopment plans
Solid waste planning and public education
Environmental site assessments and remediation

Key Responsibilities:
Leading teams or projects
Providing technical oversight and quality control
Anticipating client needs and identifying solutions
Utilizing skills and knowledge to solve complex problems
Preparing engineering calculations and supporting analyses
Developing design plans and reports
Preparing and managing, scopes, budgets and schedules
Coordinating with contractors and clients
Collaborating with other team members
Attending client meetings
Providing other duties as required

Basic Qualifications:
BS/MS Environmental or Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) License
10-20 years of Landfill / Solid Waste experience
Ability to work on multidisciplinary project work
Excellent oral & written communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Self-starter and problem solver
Excellent organizational skills

Desired Qualification:
Knowledge of AutoCAD, HEC-RAS, and ArcGIS software, a plus
Knowledge of landfill operations and solid waste projects, a plus
Knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations, a plus
