    SOFTWARE DEVELOPER

    Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Python, VBA, SQL, SQL Server, and SSIS. Proficient in object-oriented programming concepts with experience in developing and maintaining enterprise applications. They will also be a highly motivated and results oriented individual with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

    The candidate for this position will be responsible for:
    • Developing, analyzing, and maintaining enterprise applications using Python, VBA, and SQL
    • Working with other developers, system administrators, and business units to integrate applications and systems
    • Designing, developing, testing, and documenting new and existing software applications
    • Working independently or with a team of Developers to deliver high-quality software in accordance with business requirements, and on schedule
    • Following industry best practices for software development
    • Staying up-to-date on the latest software development technologies
    Requirements for the position include:
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (may be waived in lieu of experience)
    • 3+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Python, VBA, and SQL
    • A strong foundation in computer science concepts including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
    • Experience with GitHub and other software development platforms
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Strong communication and documentation skills
    Preferred qualification for the position include:
    • Proficient with SQL Server and SSIS
    • Experience developing with the Linux operating system.
    • Familiarity with the AS400/iSeries/IBMi system.
