    Sales Assistant *EXPERIENCE REQUIRED*

    Contemporary Missy garment manufacturer is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team. Applicant should be very self motivated, well organized, detail conscious, and possess a willingness to learn.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    Work with major retailers to generate orders each season

    Attend all customer appointments and prepare detailed recaps to handoff to design

    Prepare showroom prior to customer appointments and file samples post-meeting

    Regular email communication with retail partners

    Process customer POs and cross-check with finalized orders recaps, partner with production to communicate callouts to customers

    Receive, log and manage PO production list for all orders

    Cross functional liaison with design, production, retailers and warehouse to ensure all information is being maintained and communicated accurately

    Generate linesheets for OTS stock inventory

    Create business hindsight selling reports on a monthly or seasonal basis

    Maintain and update data on Excel and AIMS (inventory management system)

    Organize and send out samples as needed to customer accounts

    Schedule meetings and appointments, maintain meeting calendar

    Drop off and pick up samples from customer locations

    Help with projects as assigned by sales and design

    Qualifications include:

    Minimum 2 years of wholesale apparel/fashion experience

    AA degree in related field preferred

    Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator is a plus

    Reliable, detail oriented and well organized

    Must be a team player and have strong communication (verbal & written)

    Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and follow through

    Creative problem-solving skills

    Ability to be flexible in seasons of evolving business needs and shifting priorities
