- Engineering or related degree, or 8 years in related work experience
- A strong understanding of the business impact of security tools, technologies, and policies
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to develop and guide information security team members and IT operations personnel, and work with minimal supervision
- Possess superior, service-oriented approach to IT operations
- Experience developing and maintaining policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service focus with ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels of the organization
- Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Experience with the introduction of new technologies and standards in a mature IT environment
