Job summary

The Quality Assurance Coordinator I will assist with inspecting incoming and outbound loads to ensure product meets Sprouts Farmers Market standards communicating any issues or concerns to the Quality Assurance Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Document quantity quality type weight test result data and value of products in order to maintain shipping receiving and production records and files
  • Count or estimate quantities of products received Weigh products to maintain relevant records Ensure proper storage methods identification and stock location based on turnover environmental factors and physical capabilities of facility Keep records on the use damage of stock or stock handling equipment Provide guidance to other stockroom warehouse or storage yard workers Dispose of damaged defective items or return them vendors pursuant company procedures instructed Remove from stock products loads not meeting quality standards notify Quality Assurance management discrepancies shortages Maintain monitor clean work areas Examine products packaging for damage defects shortages using specification sheets standards charts Inspect verify Purchase Order quantities all inbound Perishable loads inspect all inbound trucks signs pest rodents before unloading Ensure compliance Standard Operating Procedures pertaining receiving storage shipping identify issues Quality Assurance management Document temperatures all inbound loads report violations Quality Assurance management Responsible proper rotation Produce inventory various Perishable items Perform daily quality inspections Perishable items Perform daily date checks pull out dated product pick reserve slots Complete daily dump damage report give Quality Assurance management Observe temperatures cooler cases report failures management Pay close attention damaged inferior product bring attention Quality Assurance manager
