Experienced clinician with excellent therapy, assessment, and interpersonal skills to provide critical outreach and treatment for clients referred to the clinic Walk-In Service.
The Engagement Specialist works with a diverse array of clients who have difficulty making use of traditional, appointment based services, or who may need rapid intervention to address safety concerns and the risk of rehospitalization.
Skills in enhancing client motivation, and engaging "hard to reach" clients/families are a must.The candidate must have excellent organizational and time-management skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with a wide spectrum of clinic, hospital, and community based providers/caretakers.

Ability to respond to emerging needs in a flexible and efficient mannerAbility to use evidence-based treatment tools with a diverse client population Familiarity with a person-centered, recovery oriented approach to treatmentMicrosoft Office Suite, and experience with electronic health records; knowledge of Medicaid/Medicare documentation requirementsAdditional language fluency (Spanish) is a plusMust be NYS certified LCSW Social Worker, licensed Psychologist, or other NYS licensed mental health professional.
