    Job Summary:
    Serves as a Liaison to HIM managers & AVP. Under moderate supervision supports and coordinates HIM Projects and Administrative Activity. Will utilize knowledge to acquire, manage, analyze, and interpret data into information. Performs all other related job duties as assigned.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
    Team Member Demonstrates professionalism as a member of the HIM DepartmentReports Establishes and prepares daily, monthly, and yearly reports.
    Projects Serves as a HIM support resource and coordinates special projects for the department.
    Communication Effectively communicates with all staff, associates, and patients.
    Inventory control and IT Serves as primary contact for inventory and equipment.
    Qualifications/Requirements Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field. Education
    • AS in HIM, Healthcare Administration, HIT, or relevant education and training.
    3 years of experience accepted in lieu of education.


    Experience:
    3-5 years.
