Your training will teach you what you need to know to succeed on the job. That said, there are a few character traits you should have from the get-go.

Also, you don't mind getting a little dirty - This could include (but is not limited to) assisting with activities of daily living such as aiding with personal hygiene (toileting, bathing, mouth care, skin care and hair), ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, light housekeeping, and other household chores, shopping/errands or companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, just to name a few.

Requirements

The 'must haves' for this position include:

18 years of age or older
Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
Possess a valid driver's license
Have current automobile insurance
Covid vaccination
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Must have the ability to pass a full employment background check

The 'nice to haves' but not required for this position include:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) license is preferred
6 months of experience as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare preferred
One-year of experience as a Caregiver/Home Health Aide in healthcare (in homes or facilities
