Position Overview:
As the General Manager of Easy Tiger South Lamar, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the continued success of our establishment. We are seeking a candidate with a proven track record of excellence in events and catering within the Austin area, as well as exceptional leadership and hospitality skills. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team and deliver memorable experiences to our customers.

REPORTS TO: Director of Restaurants
SALARY / GRADE LEVEL: Salaried / Exempt

Key Responsibilities:

1. Events and Catering Leadership: Drive event & catering sales & operations, including planning and executing a wide range of events from private parties to corporate gatherings.
2. Operational Excellence: Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the South Lamar location, maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness. Ensure the ambiance represents what our guests are going for.
3. Financial Management: Manage budgets and financial performance, working closely with the executive team to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
4. Team Development: Lead, mentor, and motivate the front-of-house, back-of-house and events teams, fostering a culture of hospitality and excellence.
5. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction, resolving issues promptly and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
6. Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, event planners, and the Austin community to drive catering and events business. Collaborate with our in house Catering & Events sales and operations team.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in managing a large format restaurant or events center.
• A strong network within the Austin, Texas area.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to meet financial targets and manage budgets.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• A passion for food, beverage, and hospitality.
• Willing to roll up your sleeves and make Easy Tiger South Lamar exceptional.
• Current Texas Food Manager Certification and TABC
• Open availability; we are open early mornings, nights and weekends
• Displays a professional appearance and is a positive role model within the restaurant
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft & Google Suite) and office skills
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs, and carry or pull objects that may be heavy
• Ability to work standing for 8+ hours
• Ability to perform other job duties as they arise

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business, or a related field is preferred.
• Understanding of restaurant financial statements and reports.
• Preferably trained on Toast, the restaurant POS system and TripleSeat, the events booking system.
