Job summary
The Shipment Research Validation Analyst inspects shipments, ensures the freight bill descriptions and applied NMFC items are correct, and ensures that the correct published tariff/rate charge is applied to the customer freight bill.This position manages the local SRV reweigh program including the training of forklift operators in the reweigh process and the maintenance of equipment to ensure a high rate of shipments are reweighed.
Promote the SRV reweigh program at the local distribution center and assigned end of line service centers,
- Train and educate service center personnel concerning proper reweigh procedures.
- Check and maintain all Shipment Research Validation (SRV) equipment.
- Inspect shipments and provide complete and accurate documentation for proper corrections to freight bills.
