Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining databases
You will manage database development projects and project teams, and coordinate the installation of revised or new systems
You will evaluate existing or proposed systems to structure and access databases, analyze database requirements of user departments, applications programming, and operations, and recommend solutions that require the definition of the physical structure and functional capabilities of databases and require data security and backup/recovery specifications.

Daily Responsibilities

• Supporting the team in Oracle EBS
• Dealing with the fallout of the production systems
• Working on new hardware
• Maintaining stable systems and working through the new system

Required Background/Skills

• 8+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience with administering and supporting multiple databases for critical, highly available systems
  Oracle RAC knowledge is helpful
  
• Significant experience with Oracle EBS administration (weblogic, apache, other webservers) highly preferred
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent SQL and DB performance tuning skills
• Bachelor's/Masters degree in computer scienceor related field.
