J&F Design is looking for an Jr. Associate Designer to join the team
J&F Design is a Los Angeles based apparel company servicing all tiers fashion channels. We design, develop, produce, and distribute our own brand name apparel and private label. Our products are researched and created by our merchandisers and designers and executed by our experienced technical teams. J&F Design develops new brands, private labels, and new concepts for retailers.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team. This position is great if you are open and looking to learn a little bit of everything throughout different fashion departments

Key responsibilities:
Assist design team with creating and updating Illustrator CADs and techpacks
Create & manage style, fabric, and trim codes for sampling, costing, and production.
Photograph and manage line samples
Assist with sourcing, send outs of fabrics/trims to dye, and strike offs
Work closely with Designers to assist with all necessary design room needs.
Assist with content creation for social media

Qualifications:
Degree in Apparel/Textile or related major
2 years of experience in industry strongly preferred.
Available to work on-site at LA office
Proficient in Excel and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop,etc.)
Proficient knowledge of fabrication/construction of garments.
Ability to take direction, time manage, prioritize workload to meet all objectives, and work under pressure.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
