- 1st Shift:
- Monday-Friday, 5:45AM-2:30PM
- Operating machine shop equipment to produce high quality precision metal parts to
- Knowledge of all inspections tools.
- Position work piece on the drill press.
- Remove/replace cutting tools and offsets as required.
- Inspect condition of tools and replace as needed.
- Inspect cut material/part prior to CNC operation to ensure conformity and compliance with blueprints, models, and/or engineering documents.
- Monitor and control feed rate and speed.
- Check accuracy or work against blueprints and specifications.
- Perform 1st article inspections and reports.
- Completes all work orders in a timely manner.
- Reports any constrains or issues before the work order is executed.
- Experience working with Micrometers and Calipers.
- General clean-up of work area and department.
- High school diploma/GED.
- Machining trade school experience accepted
- Review and understand blueprints
- Must be punctual, detailed, and able to multi-task
- Strong Math skills
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
